Deepak Ravi is an IT professional with 10 years of experience in the computer networks space and now working as a Technical Solutions Architect with ThousandEyes, Dublin, Ireland. He specializes in working closely with the Cisco partners in presenting ThousandEyes in prospective opportunities to highlight business value, educate prospects, and customers.
I am 63 and live in Aarhus, the City of Smiles. My IT career began in Copenhagen in the early 1980s with leased lines and international data/telephony communication. I spent 12 years working with IBM mainframes and SNA, followed by 20+ years as a network consultant. For the past six years, I’ve been a Network Administrator at Kamstrup A/S, leading projects such as migrating from Layer 2/3 to SDA, ISE, and Datacenter ACI, upgrading from Firewall ASA to FTD, implementing SD-WAN, and deploying monitoring tools like ThousandEyes.
I work as a WAN Tech Lead at Wingmen and specialize in SD-WAN and ThousandEyes. I hold a CCIE in Routing & Switching and serve as a Senior Network Architect. Outside of my professional life, I am a ski instructor and a passionate sailor. One of my biggest dreams is to sail around the world with my family. Originally from France, I now live in Denmark.
